Bought an older Audi off eBay, asked Adrian to check the car and it’s service history over. They charged me a half hours labour and spent the best part of an hour checking the service history and basically doing an MOT check. They found several minor faults,listed them and arranged for them to be addressed at the next service. Impeccable service, greatly reassuring.

Definitely the best garage around. We can’t speak highly enough of this garage. What a wonderful find! We were towed to them by the RAC, the cam belt went on a journey back home and we were stranded. In spite of being under intense pressure because the following days were half term and they were down two mechanics, they still managed to look at the car, take the time to keep in touch with their assessment of the damage and how much it would cost to fix. If it COULD be fixed. We weren’t expecting anything for at least a week as it was a big job too, but the wonderful people there managed to repair it, road test it AND wash it (it was filthy, bit embarrassing really) within 4 days! This was a cam belt damaged engine and could easily have been a write off but they pulled it off! They saved our car! We didnt expect it and we’re beyond grateful. The mechanics there are just fantastic and Adrian is amazing. He’s friendly, very helpful, and his customer service is something you just don’t seem to get any more these days. Incredible. I told him I was stunned they got our car back on the road so quickly after what could have been a disaster and I’m still amazed! Pleased would be an understatement. What a fantastic team. We’re so happy to have found this wonderful garage. Thank you, to all of you at Monnington.

Highly Recommended, Great Service.

Came to my rescue I’d just left Torquay to drive home to Lancashire when my car became juddery and front wheel became red hot. A quick phone call to Monnington Motors and I limped into the garage. Problem diagnosed, Adrian ordered parts and despite being a Friday near Xmas with 4 staff off, got it fixed for me in a couple of days – had a bonus extra weekend with my mum in Devon and got home smoothly and safely. Thanks for being so helpful and friendly and sorting me out when you were already so busy.

Probably the best garage I have used in over 40 years of motoring. Car problems are a massive source of stress, totally alleviated by Adrian and his crew. Dealt with a pig of a job on my Audi A3 with professionalism, good humour and patience. Excellent communication, very fair pricing and good advice offered. I really can’t fault them. Thank you.

So helpful and great guys

My usual garage (who are generally pretty good) quoted me £1k for an inlet manifold (+ VAT and fitting), they said it was a big job but couldn’t do it anyway, so suggested Monnington Motors as they are a VW specialist. Adrian diagnosed and fixed the fault with a genuine VW part all for £450 in 24 hours. What a relief! Will definitely go to Monnington if we ever get any more problems with the VW Transporter camper conversion. Excellent service all round.

Had a serious coolant leak on my van that my usual garage and couldn’t get me in within a reasonable time. Phoned Monnington Motors who got me in quickly and they did a solid job quickly at a good price. Will definitely use again.

My car recently broke down and had it recovered to Monnington Motors. I can’t recommend Adrian and the team enough. New alternator for a fair price and the car was back on the road the next day. Will certainly use in the future.

Black Death WOW!!! what a team At Monnington’s Garage. My Mercedes developed unknown to me Black Death which is a nasty problem involving injectors etc. The team discovered this whilst servicing my car and on their recommendation I had the job done.May I say what a big difference it has made to my car so, A BIG THANKYOU to you all at Monnington’s , Brilliant job done.

Just had my car MOT’d and it failed on the light which was priced at £720 for a new replacement. Adrian put me in touch with a used parts supplier which provided a replacement at a 1/3 of the price. He also kept in contact with me throughout the sourcing/fitting process. Great, straight forward customer service. I highly recommend Monnington Motors and Adrian is a credit to the company.

Monnington Motors were fantastic! We were on holiday in Devon and had driven from Denmark in our car when the battery died and the handle to the bonnet broke. Monnington Motors were extremely friendly and service minded. They fitted us in despite their busy schedule. They ordered the needed spare parts and changed the battery within 1,5 day and did an additional oil check and filled up with washer fluid and all for a very reasonable price. All in all great service.

THANKYOU so much for all at Monnington Motors for the repair of my lovely van. I was really stuck with my only vehicle being out of action – they were super quick and efficient at getting the work done so I was able to get to work. Especially thankful to Adrian on reception for acting in a kind professional manner and ensuring the quick completion of works . I’ll be back!

Monnington were great – I had broken down in my automatic Audi stuck in park with handbrake on. They suggested a tow company that would be able to lift the car and drop in to them. They were very accommodating and understanding having the car stuck in the garage They were able to carry out the work needed and kept me updated with any information.

Amazing experience!!!! Absolutely Monnington Motors is a brilliant place to take your car to. Firstly, when I called this week Adrian was just awesome. Made me feel ok. Booked my car in straight away. His overall customer service was stellar and I was happy to take my car it. On the day of my car being looked over again Adrian was welcoming. Darren was great. He went the mile to drive with me to listen for the noises and put the car on the ramp. He even showed me what was the concern. His demeanour was great and I understood what was said. They were able to book my car in for the next week, very well priced and I know will be done to a high standard. Communication was great. You know when everything goes right? And you know you’re in safe hands? Well, Monnington’s is that. Andy & Adrian were the best. Calm, confident & knowledgeable. My golf mk4 had 2 static faults that I couldn’t fix. Bish bash bosh they knew the problem & fixed it. Cost? Extremely reasonable! We’re all warry of being ripped of by a garage. Don’t be with these guys. They even did an little extra as 2 N95 tubes were a bit off. Sorted! Will I be back. Definitely. My Golfie is in safe hands. Thanks Adrian and Andy.

Excellent service 👏 I was very impressed with there Customer service , after 3 months backwards and forwards to a main dealer. I was recommended by a friend.

All my cars problems were sorted, I was kept up to date with progress, of fault finding. Not all garages do this!

Monnington’s staff ( Technicians & Management) were very thorough.
Saving me a fortune, compared to a main dealer prices.
